Reception staff exhibiting bias towards certain guests!!! The busy road adjacent to the hotel poses safety concerns, especially for families!!! A broken socket by the bed diminished convenience!!!

the staff was cheerful, kept everything fairly clean and well-maintained. it was in a great and super location close enough to esplanade mall, movies, restaurants, which is next to the big c complex, and the train station and the mall. i was happy to find morgen, it was relatively close to the hotel and served nice food.

A great value stay close to the MRT and Big C! The spacious Superior Double Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast options were decent, and staff proved to be friendly and helpful. Plus, numerous street food vendors nearby made dining a treat! A lovely and convenient experience all around.

The hotel is run by a group of friends, who have a real involvement in the hotel, and are extremely friendly and helpful. It is ideally located, being next to the Big C supermarket and shopping centre, and it is just five minutes walk to the TCC underground/MRT/metro station, and the Esplanade shopping centre and cinema. The walk is through a street/night market, and as the shops in Bangkok stay open until 10pm, it is lovely to walk through this market in the evening, grab an ice-cream or coffee at Esplanade, and then watch a film. Being close to the MRT means that you can travel around Bangkok with ease. Every room in the hotel has free wireless internet, and there are free-to-use computers in the lobby. The internet is fast, being good enough for me to video chat with family back in the UK, listen to radio on my iPhone etc. It is best quality on the lower floors, so if this is important to you, then ask for a room on the 4th floor or below when booking. I was still able to video chat and upload photos etc. on the top (8th) floor. The breakfast is very good, and is western/continental. The staff happily cooked and substituted in vegetarian sausages that my wife and I supplied from a nearby vegetarian restaurant. We have stayed at this hotel three times and the staff have always made it feel like home. They are exceptionally helpful, securely storing our luggage while we travelled around Thailand, and also getting our room ready for us for check-in when we returned at 6.30am one morning. We now always choose this hotel when visiting Bangkok, and it is amongst the best that we have stayed in when travelling around the World.

As the hotel is new (opened February 2012), some taxi drivers don't know where it is located. A good tip is to either to get the driver to take you to TCC MRT station (from where you can walk), or say that the hotel is near Robinsons, taking road Ratchada 7, then Nathong 7. Alternatively, carry a printout of the map to the hotel.

Beautifully designed and pretty standard hotel in every way with best staff at the reception desk. Well furnished and brand-new room with a nice decor. Beautiful building, magnificent and ideal location so close to Esplanade shopping mall and subway system, shopping complex, supermarket and best dentist in Thailand.

great location but lacks some amenities

The location is excellent for exploring the area , with plenty of shopping and dining options close by. The staff met my expectations for professionalism , always polite and attentive to needs. The city view from my room added a nice touch to my stay .

Staffs in this hotel are very friendly and helpful. The location is really good as it is behind BigC supermarket and Robinson. We can walk pass BigC to the main streed (Ratchada Road). We also can go to MRT (Underground) station (Thailand Culture Center station) within 10 mins walk. Room is very clean, wifi-internet is ok, you can upload your photos to your friends from your room. They also have computers next to the receptor for customers. Swimming poor is very cute and relax. They also have spa on the second floor. It is a good hotel to stay for your holiday.

I like everything in this hotel but as it is very new, it is quite difficult to find it at the first time. If you go with big bags, the best way is to use taxi and tell the taxi to go to Ratchadapisek 7, then go to Natong 7. The hotel stays near the end of Natong 7 (You will see big number 558 at the front of hotel). If you go with small bag, you can walk pass BigC to the car park and across small road behind BigC to the hotel.

Hotel is nice and clean. It's also very convenient because the "Big C" shopping mall & MRT station are just next door. My son very enjoy swimming in the Hotel's pool.

I had a lovely stay where the room was super clean and the beds were really comfy. The pool area was perfect for unwinding after a long day, and I enjoyed lounging by the pool on my visit. The only downside was the hallway noise coming through the door, but it didn't ruin my experience at all. 😊

Very clean and big rooms, Amazing Value for Money. I am a CEO of a Global company and I normally stay in 5 Star hotels minimum $ 200 a night and I spend around 100 days a year in hotels around the world for my work purposes, but Prom Ratchada Residence Deluxe Room I paid only $ 42 and it's better than some big named 5 start hotels. Energetic and Friendly Staff
